What You May Not Know About ISIS

Have you ever wondered where ISIS came from?  We all know they follow Sharia Law because they are Islamic. ISIS is an Islamic State group. We've seen it on the news and on social media that they are responsible for countless of beheading and  immersing their victims under water while locked in a  cage. We know they hate Americans and what we stand for. According to the QaRan, they are told to kill anyone who is either a Christian or a Jew (what they call the people of the book) Even Muslims are that way, but just who are these people and where do they come from?

Last night, I was scrolling down on my timeline and saw a post by one of the Christian pages I like. Johnathon Kahn was on the Jim Bakker Show talking about ISIS connection to Biblical History. Finally,  I got some answered and it confirmed  in me what I thought all along.

If you have read in the Bible about how the Assyrians treats their victims, you'd see how similar they are to ISIS! This is an eye opener, but let me say this: Sennacherib and all other Assyrian kings never had destroyed Israel. God had  given them victory over their enemies and give us victory. And don't forget, it is not a flesh and blood battle. We don't fight with carnal weapons  (read Ephesians 6 and 2 Cor 10)

  In the last few months, people have looked up to the prophets to give them hope, but they made one mistake: They went by dates. None of the prophets gave dates. They speak just as God would speak in his word, in the Bible. Nothing is plain. In fact, God said through David that he would speak in riddles. Even Jesus spoke in parables and riddles. One time, his disciples told Jesus they "now understand" because he spoke plainly. People today put their hopes in dates and it reminded me of the two men who walked on the road to Emmaus. I have given this some thought: Is God against prosperity preaching? I think when some Christians here preachers saying that God wants them to prosper, they react the same way the religious leaders of Jesus's times reacted. In Jesus's time, the pharisees were trying to put new wine and wineskins. If whatever Jesus taught didn't sound like what they grew up on, they would accuse Jesus of being a false teacher: Jesus let his disciples, pick grain on he Sabbath, Jesus didn't seem to insist his disciples wash their hands. and a bunch other things that didn't comply with the law.  People today also think that the reason why these preachers preach on prosperity is because they are greedy for gain.
